The short list of evidence prosecutors had to hand over during discovery in misdemeanor cases under People v. Schmidt, 56 Ill.2nd 572 (1974), seemed to be limited to the names of witnesses; any confession; evidence negating guilt; the arrest report; and results of scientific testing, such as Breathalyzer reports.
