Preservation and restoration of Vacaville’s Police and Fire departments, increasing transparency of city government, promoting smarter budgeting and improving city parks are central planks in Jennifer Goode’s campaign to get on the City Council.
“We deserve a safe community, a fully staffed Police and Fire department and we are not getting that now,” said Goode, alluding to budget cuts have cut the number of police and firefighters in town.
