Additionally, on Oct.28, 17 members of the Pre-Law Society, under the leadership Dr. Randy Jacobs (B-CU professor of political science and advisor to the Pre-Law Society) participated in the John Marshall Law School Workshop and Intercollegiate Competition at B-CU. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Meta Brown, Esq., diversity officer at John Marshall Law School. During the workshop the students learned the elements and procedures of a court trial. After the workshop, the students participated in three rounds of a mock trial competition conducted and judged by Attorney Brown, Jessica Youngblood, Esq., and Marrick Marthol, Esq., all of John Marshall Law School Diversity office.
