Lawrence Ferolie (’50) Passes Away

Aug. 2 – Rockford Register Star

Lawrence Ferolie, who passed the bar in 1951 and continued to practice law until 2010, died Sunday at the age of 90.

A Rockford native, Ferolie graduated from the University of Illinois before serving in World War II. After the war, Ferolie earned his law degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

Ferolie started his legal career as a Winnebago County assistant state’s attorney from 1951 to 1955. He also served as Rockford’s city attorney from 1959 to 1963.

Our thoughts are with Lawrence’s family and friends.
