The John Marshall Law School is proud of its heritage of delivering diverse, courtroom-ready attorneys to the legal community. Nowhere is this more evident than in its Center for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. Led by Professor Susann "Sunny" MacLachlan, the Center is among the school's six clinic-based programs. The law school also offers students the opportunity for hands-on activity in its Fair Housing and Veterans Clinics.

Excellent negotiation skills by Lauren Rankins and Christopher Jeckel brought home a third-place finish for The John Marshall Law School at the American Bar Association’s Regional Negotiations Competition Nov. 4 and 5 in Kansas City, Mo.
Legal Writing, Trial Advocacy and Intellectual Property Programs at The John Marshall Law School have earned top specialty rankings from U.S. News & World Report in its Best Graduate Schools 2012 edition.
The magazine has consistently highly ranked John Marshall programs in Legal Writing and Intellectual Property. This year, Trial Advocacy also placed among the top programs in the country.
To meet the demands of a highly competitive legal marketplace, students are getting advanced training in law practice technology with the use of iPads, video cameras and the addition of a third state-of-the-art courtroom.
