Krista R. Easom was awarded second place; LaQuenta C. Rudison and Zack M. Strupeck were semifinalists.

Best Brief honor was presented to Patrick J. Molinari, and Best Oralist was Jeremy Lemmons.

The competition is the culmination of a two-credit hour, semester-long course open to students after they have completed at least two semesters.

Each competitor was required to research and write two Supreme Court appellate briefs, as well as prepare an oral argument for the competition. Competition rounds were judged by local practitioners and jurists.
