Two Real Estate Students Receive Scholarships

Justin Strane (JD ’10) (second from left), an LLM student in real estate law at The John Marshall Law School, was presented with a $5,000 Chicago Association of REALTORS© Education Foundation Scholarship by Ginger Downs (third from left), CEO of the organization. The presentation was made at the Oct. 13, 2011, meeting of the Center for Real Estate Law Advisory Board. Joining them are Professor Celeste M. Hammond (left), director of the Center; and Associate Dean for Advanced Studies & Research Kathryn J. Kennedy (right).

Professor Celeste M. Hammond (left), director of the Center for Real Estate Law at The John Marshall Law School, and Associate Dean Kathryn J. Kennedy (right) presented the $5,000 Stanley Marion Fellowship Award to Gregory Guest, a joint JD/LLM in real estate law student. The award, established with funds from the late Stanley Marion, a 1942 graduate, is presented to students with an excellent academic record and a commitment to and interest in the study and practice of real estate law.
