Speakers Examine Professional Athletes and Investment Fraud

The Entertainment, Media, and Sports Law Society hosted a March 3 program with the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) Sports Law Committee on “Professional Athletes and Investment Fraud.” John Marshall student Chris Scolire, president of the student organization, welcomed (from left) Larry Landsman of Block and Landsman and chair of the CBA committee; Scott Andresen of Andresen & Associates; Reggie Smith, president of the National Football League Players Association Former Players Chicago Chapter and Retired Professional Football Players of Chicago; attorney Randall H. Borkus, vice chairman of the CBA committee; and Greg Bloedorn, former center for the Seattle Seahawks. Andresen, Smith, Landsman, and Borkus were speakers at the event.
