Students in the Media Law class on March 24 had NBC5 and Chicago Sun-Times reporter Carol Marin share details on the upcoming investigation on the 2004 homicide of David Koschman, who died of brain injuries from a fall after he was punched in the face. Allegations raised by Marin and her co-workers have led Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez to ask for an Illinois State Police investigation in to how the Chicago Police Department handled the incident that reportedly involved Mayor Richard M.
