Folsom Lecture Focuses on Foreign Claims

Virginia Russell (second from left), associate director of the Center for International Law, was joined by students Foli Allin (left), an LLM candidate in Global Legal Studies, and Bradley Opfermann (right), an LLM candidate in International Business and Trade Law, in welcoming guest presenter Ralph Folsom (third from left) to The John Marshall Law School on Jan. 27, 2012. Folsom, a professor at the University of San Diego School of Law, spoke on “Arbitration of Foreign Investor Claims Against Governments” when he delivered the 11th annual Folsom Lecture. Folsom also is a John Marshall adjunct professor and a member of the Center’s advisory board.
