Financial Aid Office Presents Four Loan Repayment and Loan Forgiveness Programs

“Repayment – Understanding Loan Forgiveness and Other Income-Based Repayment” is the theme for four programs the Office of Financial Aid is hosting March 3. “We will be sharing information with students to help them better understand the different loan repayment and public
service loan forgiveness programs,” said Yara Santana, director of the Office of Financial Aid.

Sessions scheduled at 10 a.m. and noon in room 522 will focus on loan repayment options. Tom Ramaeker, of Access Group, will be the guest speaker for the 2 p.m. session in room 522, and the 5 p.m. session in room 1200. His discussion will be on loan forgiveness for public service and the income-based repayment option. Each session is 90 minutes. Students are asked to reserve a place at the sessions by contacting LaShauna Darling, financial aid assistant, at ldarling@ jmls.edu.
