Fashion Gets New Dimensions at 2014 Fashion & Design Law Symposium

Hemlines and hues aren’t the only revolving changes in fashion. Today’s designers are experimenting with wearable technologies in clothing and 3-D printers that are helping change the design world.

Guest speakers will examine the changes in the fashion industry when The John Marshall Law School Fashion Law Society presents “The Future of Fashion & Design” at its 2nd Fashion & Design Symposium from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 11, 2014, at the law school.

Panelists will speak on four topics: Wearable Technology: When Fashion & Technology Collide; Complying with Labor Laws and Right of Publicity Statutes; Etsy®: Protecting Your Designs in an Online Market; and 3-D Printing and the Intellectual Property Landscape.

This program is co-sponsored by John Marshall’s Center for Intellectual Property, Information & Privacy Law and the Lawyers for the Creative Arts.

There is a $40 fee. Attorneys can attain 4.5 CLE hours.  Registrations are being accepted at www.fashionlaw.wix.com/symposium2014
