Activities

He was a guest presenter for the Illinois Association of REALTORS® program “Antitrust & Fair Housing: Whatcha Do When They Come for You” on April 10, 2013. He and John Marshall students presented a mock hearing illustrating just what can happen if fair housing laws are violated.

Professor Shahram Dana

Activities

At the American Society of International Law meeting in Washington, D.C.,  the week of April 1, 2013, he organized  for the ASIL Interest Group for International Criminal Law a reception honoring  Benjamin Ferencz,  a former  investigator of Nazi war crimes after World War II. Ferencz served as the chief prosecutor for the United States Army during the Einsatzgruppen Trial, which was one of the twelve military trials held by the U.S. authorities at Nuremberg, Germany.

He wrote an argument preview on SCOTUSblog for the United States v. Kebodeaux case–a case involving the federal sex-offender registry requirement, to be argued at the Supreme Court the week of April 15.
