Auction Benefits South African Children

A successful silent auction hosted by the John Marshall Law School African Human Rights class at the South African Consulate on Feb. 16, 2012, raised $3,750 for the Cotlands, an orphanage for children with HIV and AIDS, and Creche Preschool in Soweto.  Event volunteers were (from left) Professor Steve Schwinn with Fransie Cooper; Adjunct Professor Danielle Hirsch; Molly Schmiege; and Morgan Johnson. Students in the class will donate the money during their March trip to South Africa.
