School Hosts 59th Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference

Those topics and more were among the hottest issues hitting intellectual property law, as John Marshall hosted its 59th Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference.

On Feb. 27, the Center for Intellectual Property, Information & Privacy Law hosted experts from around the country who discussed the latest in patent, trademark, copyright and trade secrets law.

Lisa Jorgenson (JD’88), executive director of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, delivered the keynote address. She discussed the important role that proper intellectual property laws play in a robust, competitive economy.

Experts hosted a morning session on recent developments in intellectual property law. In the afternoon, participants had the option of attending patent-concentrated or copyright- and trademark-focused panels.
