John Marshall alum Illinois Sen. Michael E. Hastings has been tapped by Senate President John J. Cullerton to lead the Illinois Senate Criminal Law Committee. Hastings, who graduated from John Marshall in 2014, was elected state senator for Illinois’ 19th District while enrolled in law school.
