JMLS Alumni Update

Leo Melamed announced his retirement from the CME Group Board of Directors. Following his retirement, Melamed will serve as a consultant to the company for two years.  After that time, Melamed will continue to retain his title as Chairman Emeritus.

Mark Wojcik has won the Burton Foundation Award for Outstanding Contributions to Legal Writing.

Anne Blume was named Managing Partner of Cozen O’Connor’s Chicago Office and appointed to the firm’s Management Committee.

Judith Zito-Nash was promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources at the Valley View School District.

Katherine Amari O’Dell has been selected to serve as Vice President of the Harwood Heights/Norridge Chamber of Commerce.

Jacqueline D. Melius has been appointed Associate Judge in the Circuit Court of Lake County.

Derek W. Ewanic has been appointed Associate Judge in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit.

Ali M. Abid has been selected by The University of Chicago’s Civic Leadership Academy as its 2018 Fellow.
