‘Link rot’ is degrading legal research and case cites

The World Wide Web may seem like a limitless superhighway. But it is filled with dead ends: hyperlinks that point to webpages that have become permanently unavailable. This phenomenon, known as “link rot,” is outlined by June Liebert and Raizel Liebler of the Louis L. Biro Law Library at The John Marshall Law School.
