John Marshall No Longer the “School Over the Drugstore”

Until 15 months ago, The John Marshall Law School did not have a ground-level presence at State Street and Jackson Boulevard.

Through a yearlong, $7 million renovation project, the school’s first floor was converted into a new student commons, cafeteria, bookstore and a place for future classrooms. In addition, the main entrance was placed on State Street.
