Second Place in National Mock Trial

John Marshall students (from left) Catherine Foresman, Lindsay Ruedig, Sara Tremurici and Polina Kostylev took second place at the Florida State University National Civil Mock Trial Competition March 7-10. The team argued a case of institutional negligence in which a student was allegedly shot by a professor. The professor, as plaintiff, sued the law school on grounds of negligent premises liability, negligent supervision and negligent security. The team received a trophy and cash prize.
