John Marshall alumni gathered with Dean John Corkery (standing, center) at the centennial celebration of the graduation of the first Hispanic student at John Marshall. Alumni are U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Manuel Barbosa (JD ’77)(seated, left) and Circuit Court of Cook County Judge Jorge Ortiz (JD ’89), with Justice Jesse Reyes (JD ’82) (standing, left) of the Illinois Appellate Court, and Ricardo Meza (JD ’90) executive inspector general for the Agencies of the Illinois Governor.

The boy’s father, Federico Rodriguez (left), president of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, was also a guest speaker. He was accompanied by his daughter, Alejandra.
