She presented “Demand Letters: A Perfect Tool for Teaching Advocacy, Professionalism, and Persuasion” at the 2012 LWI Biennial Conference, Palm Desert, California, May 2012.
She was awarded the 2012 Deborah Hecht Memorial Award for her article “Freeing Students to Write More Effectively – Taking the Fear Out of Plagiarism.” The award was presented during the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 LWI Biennial Conference in Palm Desert, California, on May 30, 2012.
