Students Celebrating Diversity Week

“We are the most diverse law school in Chicago, and we’re celebrating the diversity of our student body during Diversity Week,” said Jeff Arnold who with Jason Allen is co-chairing the March 26 through 29 programs.

Student organizations are hosting a Diversity Dinner at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 26, on 3-East.  Ethnic foods will be featured, and a panel will address the importance of diversity in the legal profession.

At noon on Tuesday, March 27, the Hispanic Law Students Association is hosting a luncheon in the Goldberg Courtroom.  Students will hear from a panel of distinguished judges.

And at noon on Thursday, March 29, “Out at Work,” a program on how to be comfortable in the workplace with your sexual orientation, will be co-sponsored by the Career Services Office.  The program will be in Room 300. Lunch will be served.

Students also are invited to socialize starting at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Brando’s, 343 S. Dearborn.
