He spoke on Sept. 10, 2011, at the National LGBT Lavender Law Conference in Los Angeles. His panel addressed legal issues relating to the new generic top-level domains (gTLDs) for Internet websites. The other panelists included the Legal Director for Global Brand Protection at Yahoo!, the Associate General Counsel for Trademarks at Microsoft Corporation, the Chief Marketing Manager for MarkMonitor, and a partner from the Washington DC office of Steptoe & Johnson.
